| I read something one time which perfectly describes hope to me, it said: "Hope has dirt on her face, blood on her knuckles, the grit of the cobblestones in her hair, and just spat out a tooth as she rises for another go." Hope isn't about taking the smooth path, it is about taking the roughest and not looking back. Hope keeps trying till she wins, and yes she always does!!! Isaiah 40:31 AMP [31] But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] Will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, They will walk and not grow tired. | I’m not even speaking to the people pretending to be perfect today—I’m speaking to those who castigate the imperfect in church. If we were all perfect, then we wouldn’t need the church in the first place. I’ve always likened the church to a hospital: a place where the sick come to be treated and diagnosed, and the healthy come for routine check-ups. When you sit in a hospital waiting room, no one mocks anyone for their condition. If anything, the healthy encourage the sick, and the sick hope to become healthy. That is exactly how the church of Christ should be. |

| I don’t know who Mario Kart is or how strong he’s supposed to be… but I do know this: God will always—always—pick you up whenever you mess up or find yourself in a messy situation. And honestly, that’s only if you were too late to call on Him before you “drove off.” Because if you reach out to Him on time, He won’t even let you take the wrong turn. And even if He allows you to drive off, He will still reach you long before you hit rock bottom. |

So yeah, keep trying to imitate Christ, we might never reach the full perfection of christ but we can defs mirror His Image and likeness and reflect it to the world. Regardless, we can still attain Christ perfection and it is confirmed in the book of Matthew 5:48 AMP [48] You, therefore, will be perfect [growing into spiritual maturity both in mind and character, actively integrating godly values into your daily life], as your heavenly Father is perfect. [Lev 19:2] |
